It was an honor for Algeria to participate for the second time in the Los Ríos Region International Meeting, which is a valuable space for brotherhood and cultural exchange organized in the beautiful southern city of Valdivia.
During the inauguration ceremony, we embraced the words of Governor Luis Cuvertino Gómez in support for Peace around the world and the struggle of peoples for their right of self-determination, particularly those of Palestine and Western Sahara.
Speaking of our participation in the event, it basically consisted in setting up an "Algeria" stand, which attracted numerous people and visitors who were able to learn more about the country's rich culture and the beautiful sites they can visit.
Additionally, our tourism presentation, titled "Algeria, Land of Encounters" was a tribute to the ancient beauty of our country and the courage of a people with a unique and independent spirit.
The audience had the opportunity to appreciate the diversity of algerian landscapes, getting a close look at its captivating beaches, the grandeur of its Roman ruins, and the majesty of its desert. The experience was enriched with a display of local music, dances, and traditional costumes.
Algerian gastronomy was also present in the city of Valdivia. We shared how to prepare our emblematic traditional dish, "Algerian couscous" with the students of INACAP school whom we thank in this occasion for their help and interest in learning about our cuisine!
