Inauguration of the exhibition, “Ports of Chile and Algeria: Landscapes of Union and Development”.

In a joint effort between the National Maritime Museum, the Embassy of Algeria in Chile, and the Skansen Foundation, the temporary exhibition, “Ports of Chile and Algeria: Landscapes of Union and Development,” was inaugurated on Wednesday, November 12th, on the Museum premises. This pictorial exhibit invites us to reflect on how their port landscapes, despite being geographically distant, are united by the sea.

This beautiful activity coincides with the celebration of a new anniversary of our glorious revolution and is consistent with this year's motto, "message for the generations," which must look toward the future development of the country.

The works on display, created by the brushes of talented artists from the Valparaíso Region, portray not only the geographical beauty that links both countries in its similarity, but also speak to us of cooperation and mutual development, with their seas and wonderful coastlines as a common point.
