BIOGRAPHY
Faiza Rahim Latrous began her diplomatic career in 1998 and served in several Algerian Diplomatic Missions abroad: First Secretary at the Algerian Embassy in Santiago (2002-2006), Counsellor at the Algerian Embassy in Moscow (2009-2014) and Minister-Counsellor at the Algerian Embassy in Ottawa (2018-2023).
Since 2018, she is a member of the African Women's Network for Conflict Prevention and Mediation (FEMWISE AFRICA).
She is graduated in Interpretation and Translation from the University of Algiers (Algeria), obtained a Master's Degree in Didactics of Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Alcalá de Henares (Spain) and realised, within thesame university, a research work in order to obtain a Doctorate in Applied Linguistics, entitled "Cronémica en Argelia y en España".
