Regularization of the legal status of citizens residing abroad

In implementation of the decision made by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, regarding the settlement of the status of citizens residing abroad who are in vulnerable or irregular situations and subject to judicial or administrative proceedings, the Embassy of Algeria in Santiago informs members of the national community within its jurisdiction that exceptional measures have been established in their favor.

These measures are intended for citizens -particularly the yougsters- who are subject to judicial or administrative follow-ups related to minor misdemeanor acts affecting public order.

To this end, concerned citizens, who want to benefit from these settlement procedures, are invited to contact the services of the Embassy of Algeria in Santiago, in order to submit a formal request; using the specific application form provided for this purpose, alongside providing the additional required documentation.
