Organization of the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025)

In anticipation of the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), which will take place in Algiers from September 4th to 10th, 2025, the Algerian Embassy in Santiago informs foreign nationals, exhibitors, and other participants in this important event that they can enter Algerian territory through two options: the first, and most common, is via a consular visa, or, in some exceptional cases, via a visa on arrival.
1. Consular Visa
For the consular visa option, applications for entry visas into Algerian territory will be received and processed by the Embassy's consular service. The application must include the following documents:
- Completed and signed visa application form.
- Passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining.
- Photocopy of the passport pages containing personal information.
- Document confirming validation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs.
- Payment of visa fees.
- Hotel reservation**.
- Round-trip flight reservation**.
** If these are not available at the time of application, applicants must provide these two documents when collecting their visas.
2. Visa on Arrival
For the visa on arrival option, Border Police services are authorized to exceptionally issue a regularization visa to foreign nationals who arrive at border posts without a regular visa.
This measure particularly applies to foreign nationals whose country of residence does not have an Algerian diplomatic or consular representation.
Additionally, upon arrival in Algeria, the individual must imperatively be in possession of the following supporting documents:
- Regularization visa application form.
- Passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining.
- Photocopy of the passport pages containing personal information.
- Documents proving the request for entry into Algerian territory (document confirming validation of registration on the IATF 2025 platform).
- Payment of visa fees established by Article 48 of the 2025 Finance Law.
- Proof of accommodation in Algeria (hotel reservation).
- Return flight ticket.
N.B.:To be allowed to board a flight in direction of an Algerian airport, the foreign national who is eligible for a visa on arrival must imperatively have in their possession an embarkation certificate issued by the competent services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
